Eerie Pickaxe
An eerie pickaxe is a diamond-level pickaxe that contains special properties.
Obtaining
Eerie pickaxe are made using the Forge Ritual. (ritual here)
Repairing
An eerie pickaxe can be repaired on an anvil with cursed metal ingots. They can also be repaired by combining two of the same type of items together in a crafting interface, or grindstone.

The eerie pickaxe functions as a diamond-level pickaxe with all associated functionalities.
Eerie Touch
When held on main hand, the player's block reach is increased by 3 blocks, recently broken blocks (exist in item form in less than 20 ticks) within 10 blocks will transfer into the player's inventory, if there's any space, and nearby experience orbs, within the same range, will immediately go to the player. The last to functionalities can be disabled by crouching.
Eerie Noises
Holding the pickaxe on the main hand also gives a chance to play a sound effect nearby the player, emulating a cave ambience or a nearby mob. Here are the sounds it can play:
- 54% chance - Cave Ambience
- 25% chance - Soul Sand Valley Ambience
- 15% chance - Sculk Shrieker, shrieking.
- 5% chance - Warden Nearby Close.
- 1% chance - Screaming Goat Ambient/Idle sounds.
Enchantments
Eerie Pickaxes can receive all normal pickaxe enchantments.
An eerie pickaxe's enchantability by default is 22(same as golden tools).
Ritual Ingredient
Eerie pickaxes are also used as an ingredient for making Philosopher's Maces.
